Wow, I can’t believe its been a week already! I was meaning to post this asap and next thing I know its a week later. Anyway, I just wanted to share with you my sister Vicky’s book launch for Unscripted at Fully Booked.

I’m so proud of Vicky because I know she worked really hard on producing this book. Once in a while she would ask for advice from me, but I could see that she really embraced the process of putting this book together.

It was great to see so many friends and family supporting this special event for the girls. My mom even got in on the action by helping color in Vicky’s name on the table.

This is the best book launch I’ve ever been to- great people, good music, amazing book!

Ofcourse I needed to get an autograph from the book’s photographer Roy Macam.

Vicky and I got a private tour and special massage treatment at Mandala Spa. For me, Mandala Spa is the best spa treatment in the world! I’ve been to all kinds of spa’s around the world, and the only spa that comes close is the Spa at Four Seasons in Koh Samui. You really have to go there and try it for you to understand what I mean.

Vicky and I went to Boracay last weekend to attend Eric (DJ Vice) and Angela’s wedding. Eric and Angela are one of the kindest souls on this earth and I’m so happy that they both found each other.

I can’t believe I’ve known Eric for 11 years! I didn’t realized that was so long ago until people at the wedding kept asking me how I knew him. I remember I used to go with my friend DJ Virman to Power 106 radio station where he would dj and I would study. haha. That’s where I met all the Power 106 dj’s- ofcourse DJ Vice (Eric), DJ Echo, Choc, and Big Boy. I’m so impressed with these guys, they are so talented, nice, humble, and know how to party!

Even though we were at Boracay, which is one of my favorite places to relax, we were on a busy itinerary- wake up, eat, beach, eat, massage, eat, party, sleep. Sounds relaxing, but trust me, Vicky and I were exhausted by the end of the day…or I should say night.

Ahhh…finally released our much awaited Photo Issue with Perou. I was so excited when Perou agreed to being our cover. Only a few days before I was admiring this shoot with Dita Von Teese who is in our November 2011 issue. I mean…how lucky are we!?! Perou is an amazing photographer so I hope you enjoy the issue.

My sister’s new fashion TV show just aired last Tuesday on the Lifestyle network. I’m so happy for both of them- Tina (Philippine Fashion Week) and Teresa (model/host). I know how hard they both worked on RUNWAY TV show and the results are AMAZING. No, I didn’t get any sneak peek of the episode before it aired. You would have thought they would hook a sista up! But I waited like everyone else and was in awe of the show they put together. We also aired out Status TVC that night too! That was the FIRST look of our December issue with Brit fashion/celeb photog Perou.

I know that there are a lot of things that go on in the office that I DON’T know about. Honestly, I don’t really want to know either…like if they are building a secret meth lab, don’t tell me. But there are some days where I have to ask my team, “What’s going on?” Last week I noticed that they dressed preppier than normal. And if you know the Status style, you will know that that’s not normal. So I was forced to ask, and they said that they wanted to dress like they were in school! WHEW! No meth lab. I can’t believe its December already…wow…this year was incredible! So its time to party for our December issue. But not only that, we want to celebrate this incredible year. So come party with me and the Status crew at Ponti this Saturday. :)
